This Task is a continuation of IEA-SHC Task 55 that ended in December 2020.
The main objective is to maximize the energy efficiency of solar systems integrated in urban district networks through:
- adequate integration of new solar collector technologies that provide thermal energy directly or indirectly with the support of other technologies, such as thermal energy storage or heat pumps;
- digitization of district solar systems improving the quality of data processing, treatment and exploitation systems;
- development of new business models;
- dissemination of the state of the art of technology and its applications.
