Contract for an N3 early-stage researcher

Deadline

10-01-2026

Project

Pancreatic adenocarcinoma (PAD) is a devastating disease with a high mortality rate. This solid tumour has a limited response to classic treatments such as surgery, chemotherapy, and radiotherapy. Although immunotherapies are providing promising and optimistic results in certain solid tumours, this is not the case with PAD due to its non-immunogenic and immunosuppressive environment. In this project, the candidate will participate in research on the tumour microenvironment of PPA using tissue engineering techniques, organ-on-a-chip models, in vivo microscopy, and immunotherapy.

The candidate will work within the Multiscale Group in Mechanical and Biological Engineering (M2BE) at the University of Zaragoza. The contract duration is one year. The position will be filled as soon as possible.

  • A collaborative international learning environment is provided.
